Kaldenblooms began in winter of 2022 with a basement full of seeds. I moved to Albia the previous fall and found it really challenging to meet new people with a job that had me working from home and traveling out of town.

I began looking into having a small cut flower garden, which quickly expanded into what Kaldenblooms is today. Currently we grow flowers on less than 1/2 an acre, very small scale, with plans to add many new varieties as we continue to grow.
